Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate the robust switched static output feedback (SOF) control for discrete-time switched linear systems (SLS) under arbitrary switching laws and external disturbances. By using a switched quadratic Lyapunov functions framework, we propose a new method based on sufficient linear matrix inequality (LMI) conditions for the SOF stabilization. In addition, we show that the gamma-performance analysis and the sub-optimal robust SOF control problems can be formulated and solved via LMIs that, unlike existing results for SLS, allow to incorporate a different performance index for each subsystem. Besides its numerical tractability, our new approach proved to have good performance on numerical examples.
