Abstract :
This paper presents a control scheme for a single phase PWM boost converter based on instantaneous control of active and reactive power at sinusoidal ac current with power reversal capability. The proposed scheme has the following features: decoupled control of active and reactive power, fast dynamic response for dc side voltage. In addition, the scheme satisfies the IEC 555 and IEC 1000-3-2 class D harmonic current standards. Moreover, the proposed system does not require high sampling rates which were the major limitation of classical DPC scheme.
