Abstract :
A digital baseband image rejection technique for low-IF wireless receivers is presented. It is based on complex-valued Independent Component Analysis (ICA), where non-Gaussianity is measured by kurtosis. Computer simulations demonstrate that the proposed technique is able to substantially improve the receiver´s performance, and the resulting receiver is robust to I/Q mismatch levels, thermal noise, and input signal to interference ratios.
