  • Abstract
A novel CMOS linear operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) with a wide linear input-voltage range is proposed. In this OTA, a simple linearizing technique based on bias-current modulation is adopted to compensate nonlinearities in the transfer characteristic of the conventional current-source-biased source-coupled differential pair. The design and SPICE simulations are presented, assuming implementation by the standard n-well CMOS process. The design and simulated performance of 3.58 MHz OTA-C filter are also given as an application of the proposed OTA
