Abstract
The paper extends and applies the high level synthesis methodology presented in (Alippi et al., 2002) to analog/digital embedded processing systems whose computation is associated with Lebesgue measurable functions. The approach, based on a robustness analysis, allows the designer for identifying the accuracy requirements of the modules composing the application (e.g., floating vs. fixed point representation, resolution and/or the production tolerances acceptable for the passive components of the analog circuit) so as to yield an acceptable loss in accuracy at the system output.
