Abstract
Integer pair representation for multiple-output (IPR-M), an efficient cube-based method for the representation and manipulation of multiple-output binary valued expressions is presented. The encoding scheme for IPR-M allows for a compact representation of logic functions and efficient manipulations through bitwise logical operations. The authors discussed the IPR-M format, as well as common function operators for multi-output manipulation. Applicability of the representation is illustrated in the implementation of a multiple-output minimizer IPR-MMin. Benchmark results using IPR-MMin are comparable to Espresso´s, both in minimization percentages and execution time.
