Abstract :
Broadwall resonant complex slots or inclined displaced slots in a waveguide are analysed in this work by suitably modifying the earlier formulation. Resonant slot scattering parameters and complex slot voltage and phase calculated from this modified closed-form formulation are seen to be in excellent agreement with those calculated using rigorous numerical methods even for half height waveguides and arbitrary slot tilt and offset. Slot arrays with independent control of amplitude and phase can be designed using this analysis to obtain a given sidelobe level and beam shape.
