Abstract :
The problem of constructing globally stabilising output feedback controllers for a class of nonlinear systems is addressed by combining a reduced-order observer design with a certainty equivalence result recently proposed in the literature. The results are demonstrated on two simple examples. As an application, an output feedback controller is proposed for a class of 2-DOF Euler-Lagrange systems.
