  • Abstract
Current society, Emergency Management System (EMS) widely uses Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) to assure safety. If emergency happens, in dynamically changing environment, real-time property of emergency information should be assured. But conventional approaches which are based on static situations and centralized management can not satisfy this requirement. Thus, we introduce community. Community is a group of wireless routers which include main route and barrier. Main route is composed of routers for only transmitting emergency information. Barrier is composed of routers around main route for protecting emergency information from interferences of other information transmission outside community. Real-time property of emergency information could be assured. But when multiple emergencies exist, each emergency information will not be protected due to the conflict between communities. In this paper, to assure real-time property of multiple emergencies´ information, autonomous community adjustment technology is proposed. Via proposed technology, each community could autonomously adjust its size to protect emergency information´s transmission. Moreover, new community´s main routes will be autonomously selected to avoid the conflict with other communities. Improvement of real-time property by proposed technology is indicated by evaluation result.
