Abstract :
An approach to direction-of-arrival estimation for broadband coherent signals using constant beamwidth beamformers is proposed. A set of beamformers is designed using optimal array pattern synthesis method to realize constant beamwidth. The proposed beamspace DOA estimator maintain good DOA estimation and spatial resolution capability for the coherent signals.
