Title :
Brushless DC drive (an advanced variable speed drive)

Abstract :
The brushless DC motor and control overcomes all the problems being faced in conventional DC motor/thyristor drives and the AC V/F controlled induction motor to provide smooth and efficient power and speed control which is not measured in percent of RPM, but in physical shaft position within a single revolution. All of this comes in a compact package which exceeds the performance of AC across-the-line, AC variable frequency or the conventional DC drive
