Abstract :
We discuss the role of conversations in the composition of Web services. A Web service is an accessible application that other applications and humans can discover and trigger to satisfy needs. While much of the work has focused on low-level standards for publishing, discovering, and invoking Web services, it is deemed appropriate to start leveraging the Web services to the level of active components. Such components would be able for example to engage conversations and make decisions.
