  • Abstract
    In order to overcome the deficiencies of vertical prestressing tension in engineering applications , the paper puts forward the transversal prestressing tension reinforcement technology and its principles and methods. The research, based on the reinforcement of concrete slab, focuses on the construction techniques and construction designs of the transversal prestressing tension reinforcement. Compared with vertical prestressing tension, the transversal prestressing tension reinforcement technology has its unique advantages of convenient application in the spot of reinforcement and applicability to small or medium member reinforcement. Results show that the transversal prestressing tension reinforcement technology has its characteristics of simpler anchoring and node construction, less equipment requirements and easier construction techniques; reinforced structure can meet the demands of safety and durability.
