Abstract :
The main physical properties of super heavy oil are poor, so the dehydration is very difficult. The super heavy oil dehydration includes two processes: demulsification and oil water separation. Choose suitable demulsifier can increase the collision probability of water drops and speed the super heavy oil hydration. By laboratory experiment, demulsifier X was chosen. And in situ test demulsifier X was used in the continuous dehydration process of super heavy oil. The result shows that the continuous dehydration process shortens the treatment time by 56 h, and has high economic benefit.
