            Abstract : 
The latest developments of the SLICOT Library based on structure preserving algorithms for solving eigenproblems with Hamiltonian matrices and skew-Hamiltonian/Hamiltonian matrix pencils are discussed. An important application benefiting from these advances is the computation of ℒ∞-norms of linear time-invariant multivariable systems. It is shown that this approach delivers accurate results and it is much faster than the state-of-the-art tools.
