Abstract :
The paper discusses principles of measuring small velocities using Doppler techniques. A measurement technique proposed in this paper eliminates errors inherent in contact methods and allows for very small velocities to be measured at millimeters per second and below. This technique is based on a homodyne method of measuring phase incursion
