Abstract :
The freeway accidents rate of China has been very high for a long time. In order to improve this situation, this article discusses the probability of a realization method to avoid rear-end collisions of the vehicles on freeway by making a car terminal device which is able to receive alarm signals and warn the driver to slow down. This car terminal device sends and receives alarm signals by RF wireless data transmission modules. Also there is communication station device which is used to transmitting prewarning signals and warning removing signals. These devices constitute the whole prewarning system for preventing rear-end collisions on freeways.
