Abstract
Utilizing the parameters of 58 typical earth-stations within China and ITU-R rain attenuation model, the rain attenuation and rain attenuation ratio at different frequencies in Ka waveband of 58 earth-stations along earth-space paths are calculated. The expression of the rain attenuation frequency scaling ratio factor in Ka waveband is obtained using the numerical method. Its prediction results are better than that of ITU-R in China.
