Abstract :
Increasing throughput of wireless network is a challenging problem. This paper proposes a new MAC protocol named simple single radio multi-channel protocol (SSMP) which utilizes multi-channel to transmitting data simultaneously. Using SSMP each node has own channel status table (CST). The node selects transmitting channel with CST. Simulation results show that SSMP improves network throughput and decrease end to end delay efficiently.
