Abstract :
This paper utilizes four existing rain attenuation models for multiple regions in the Continental United States and elsewhere to calculate attenuation due to rain for frequencies in the 30 to 50 GHz range. Measured data are compared with the calculated results to determine the validity of the rain models for the frequencies of interest
