  • Abstract
The present paper explains the steady-state torque versus speed characteristics of a slip-energy recovery induction motor drive obtained from the reference frame analysis and a hybrid model of the machine. The first model considers the first harmonics of the rotor variable while the second takes into account the actual rotor variables. Therefore, the obtained torque-speed characteristics from the hybrid model are more accurate than the model based on the reference frame theory
