Abstract
Scripts are the computational solution proposed in the computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) field to guide and support potentially fruitful interactions in terms of learning benefits. However, when applying these scripts to real contexts, unexpected situations occur that forces to change the script on the fly. In a blended learning situation, in which online activities and face-to-face activities are combined this changes becomes more complex. Different solutions and tools have been developed to provide support to collaborative practices. However, these systems are still too rigid to capture the unexpected changes and situations that can occur in educational contexts. Specialized and interoperable tools should be developed for supporting these changing situations, without spoiling natural group dynamics.
