Abstract
A method based on the state-space model is developed for the evaluation of network sensitivities with respect to algebraic elements. Formulas for the large change-differential sensitivities of network functions and pole and zero sensitivities are given in terms of the matrices in the state-space description. The method developed relies on extracting the elements with respect to which network sensitivities are to be calculated as loads to the multiport network, which consists of the rest of the circuit, and then considering the state-space model of this multiport network
