Abstract :
Currently, the Ro-ro transport is the most popular means of international motor transportation. A large quantity of Ro-ro terminals have been built in many Chinese ports to to promote the regional economy, more of them are under construction. The efficiency and effectiveness of Ro-ro terminals are to a large extent determined by the accessibility to information. Based on the project research, this paper has analysed the basic business process of the Ro-ro terminal as well as its acceleration effects generated by the RFID technology. Moreover, based on the RFID technology, the paper has designed the management information platform for Ro-ro terminal and clarified the primary procedures of Ro-ro operation in the information environment.
