Abstract :
In this paper, millimeter-wave radar cross section (RCS) characteristics for high-voltage power transmission line is investigated for the purpose of helicopter collision avoidance, where the RCS measurements were conducted. The dependence of the RCS on a radar incidence angle is also discussed at 35 and 94 GHz. It is found that high RCS can be expected and the angle of the mainlobe and sidelobes coincides with the angle of the Bragg scattering
