Abstract
The Software Engineering Institute (SEI) has as its remit the task of facilitating the transfer of software engineering technology into practice in US industry (technology transition). The operations of the SEI are divided into a number of programmes, and within this, the education programme´s main remit is to influence software engineering curricula development throughout the education community. A major step in this is the development of a graduate curriculum, underpinned with supporting material for use by students and teachers
