Abstract :
The paper concerns research projects composed of tasks that must be performed in a sequence. Execution time of each task depends on an amount of a resource allocated to this task and is described by an expert in a form of inequality with unknown parameter. All unknown parameters are assumed to be values of uncertain variables characterized by certainty distributions. The paper contains formulation and solution of the knowledge-based resource allocation problem, an example illustrating the presented approach, and analysis of quality of expert´s knowledge.
