Abstract :
Describes a high frequency digital ultrasonic scanning system which is being developed at University College London for the material characterisation of high grade engineering ceramics. The system represents the most recent phase in UCL´s research to provide a fully automated and versatile digital NDT scanning rig which gives both imaging and digital signal processing capability in the range 25 to 100 MHz
