Abstract :
The paper presents a highly reliable and efficient UPS system developed using IGBTs for an inverter power module driven with PWM through an IR2110 high voltage MOS gate driver. Results of simulation studies conducted on the UPS using PSpice are also presented and are compared with experimental results obtained in the laboratory. The simulation was carried out in three stages, first the three-phase rectifier was simulated in closed loop operation; later the inverter was simulated in closed loop operation; and finally both were integrated and simulated
