Abstract :
STARNET is based on a library of Eurocards. It can be configured for local area coverage where the system can operate as a trunked local area repeater or regionally interconnected allowing wide area coverage. Various dispatcher arrangements can be made and include hard wired, fixed mobile or PABX subscriber. STARNET is not limited to operation within BAND III (174-225 MHz) but is transparent to the frequency of operation. The system is controlled by an Intel microcomputer via a proprietary bus structure
