Abstract :
A method for the determination of hydrodynamic characteristics of a ship hull is presented. The side force coefficient and moment coefficient are determined from the parameters of motion measured during the maneuvering trials. These coefficients can be used for new designs, in the study of scale effects and other tasks of applied maneuverability.
