A broad base in undersea technology is required in order to successfully prosecute the programs required to fulfill this mission. The "Ocean" programs at NOSC include: undersea vehicles, tools, sensors, information processing, data links, materials, and oceanographic and atmospheric sciences. In addition, important products based on the capabilities generated for the primary mission, are applied to direct fleet support and technology transfer to other government agencies.
