Abstract :
This paper considers the stability of linear systems with a time-varying delay. By constructing a new augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) and proving its positive definiteness, an improved delay-dependent stability criterion in terms of LMIs is presented. An example is given to illustrate the usefulness over some existing results.
