Abstract :
The authors discuss exactly what an electroplating plant is and the types of equipment to be found there. They then go on to discuss the need for control of such a plant. Equipment options and their advantages and disadvantages are discussed. Selection of a suitable system considering work transfer, rectifier control, process temperature control, solution maintenance, process start-up, effluent treatment, and fault monitoring are discussed
