            Abstract :
A 1/7 scale space model experiment of three spans and three frames which are from SRC frame-RC shear wall hybrid structure main building in large thermal power plants has been carried out. The natural vibration frequencies and mode shapes of experimental model obtained through hammering method, and dynamic characters of prototype structure are acquired according to similarity relationships. The finite element model of hybrid prototype structure main building built with SAP2000 software was used to analyze structural modal. The natural vibration frequencies and mode shapes obtained and compared with experimental results. The results express that the first mode shape of hybrid structure presents as horizontal translation, there is a little difference between longitudinal stiffness and horizontal stiffness. The research will be base for study on seismic performance of hybrid structure main building in large thermal power plants.
