  • Abstract
    Large amount of technologies involved in equipment system-of-systems (SoS) engineering and R&D management comprise equipment technology system-of-systems. In this paper, to describe the complexity of tremendous technologies involved in equipment SoS engineering and R&D management, the conceptual model of technology SoS was proposed by deriving from SoS distinguishing characteristics Then, requirements of technology SoS research were presented. Furthermore, key issues and focuses of technology SoS research were discussed. All these work was aimed at attracting more and more attentions and research efforts on dealing with the complexity of technology SoS.
