Abstract :
This article introduces a new energy expression method based on traditional Snake algorithm, which can improve shortcomings of traditional Snake algorithm, especially for the poor segmentation results about the complicated contour object. The experimental results show that the algorithm has better ability to detect the complex outline, and good results are obtained in the ANW feature extraction algorithm of iris image. Finally iris recognition is finished based on the curling round extraction.
