The following topics were dealt with: digital control of DC drives; direct digital control of induction motor currents; alternator synchronisation; IC for driving VR step motor as a brushless DC motor; 8096 microcontroller for real time event control; PWM waveform generator using microcontrollers; variable speed induction motor with integral ultrasonic PWM inverter; and the MOTOCONIC chip-set, a complete control system for digital PWM inverter drives. Abstracts of individual papers can be found under the relevant classification codes in this or other issues
