Abstract :
The results of development of methods for design of micro calorimeters with ultimate characteristics are given. The structure of such micro calorimeters is described. The information on optimal reaction chambers, balancing units, thermal stabilization system is provided. Special emphasis is given to eddy thermopiles based on the effect of origination of transverse to thermal flow thermoEMF in anisotropic materials. Structural modifications of thermopiles and micro calorimeters with ultimate sensitivity values 10-8 W are described. The efficient use of micro calorimeters, including the determination of thermoelectric material quality, is represented.
