Abstract :
Permeable thermoelement based on the use of heat transfer by liquids or gases passing through thermoelement legs is investigated. The results of calculation and optimization of basic parameters based on optimal control theory and computer modeling methods are presented. The advantages of permeable thermoelements over conventional ones containing legs of continuous material, are shown. The possibility of increasing the generator efficiency by a factor of 1.4 is established. The basic postulates of the theory and the results of calculating permeable thermoelements are corroborated experimentally.
