Abstract
The author presents an analysis of the coherent mixing of a base laser set in adjacent line pairs in order to generate a set of synthetic wavelengths whose phase relationship is measured and used to determine a required range. The analysis is required to compute the target range of space born multiple-array radio and optical frequency interferometers
