Abstract
In order to overcome poor adaptability of conventional PID controller and effectively restrain the impact of network delays, a novel approach is proposed that new Smith predictor combined with neuron adaptive control for the wireless networked control systems (WNCS). Because new Smith predictor doesnpsilat include network delay model, therefore network delay is no need to be measured, identified or estimated on line. Based on IEEE 802.11 b/g (WLAN), the results of simulation show validity of the control scheme.
