Abstract :
Tongue diagnosis is one of the core diagnostic methods in traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and greasy tongue fur/ coating (Nitai) NB did a search and saw “coating” used for which is I feel is more comprehensible to the western mind then fur is an important classification in tongue diagnosis. We employed naïve Bayesian classifier to differentiate the three typical categories of fur/coating (Nitai) i.e. greasy fur/coating (Nitai), sub-greasy fur/coating (predominantly Nitai) and normal fur/coating , and to verify the sensitivity of the different tongue indicators for classification purpose.
