Abstract
Many construction projects fail due to the difficulty of identifying the many tasks that need to be done and the responsibilities for their execution. Construction management is the management of the design and construction phases as an integrated process. Within this definition are several sub stages: design, procurement, assembly and contractual environment. The author describes a research project to develop a system which can predict the complete range of tasks and set management objectives at a very early point in the process
