Abstract
The paper is dealing with a distribution grid associated with an electric vehicles (EVs) set on the one hand and photovoltaic (PV) systems on the other hand. The strong variability of the PV can cause instabilities in the grid. Using EVs to smooth the fluctuation of PV power is a promising solution. A real-time control of the EVs is developed based on the power measurements at the point of common coupling (PCC). The proposed control takes into account the stochastic distribution of the arrivals and departures times. The performance of the proposed strategies is validated by simulations with a satisfactory results.
