Abstract :
The authors describe a rainfall model developed at Essex University for British Telecom for studying the effects of rain and other hydrometeors on radiowave propagation. They consider the interference between two intersecting antenna beams and a rain cylinder, and discuss the effects of scattering direction and cell motion
