Mascot monitoring and control facilities in an Ada environment

This work is concerned with the development of Mascot style monitoring, control and error reporting facilities to support the use of the Mascot 3 design method using the Ada language as an implementation vehicle. The work has been carried out over a period of time and considered a range of mapping options between the Mascot run-time model and Ada. The selected method offered a number of advantages in terms of the constraints placed on the use of the language features and the amount of cooperation required from the program writer
