  • Abstract
    A new approach to reduce computational efforts in Vector Fitting method is proposed. The approach is based on a new linear solver for the least squares problem. The solver exploits the specific structure of the Vector Fitting matrix. Numerical experiments showed the essential reduction of computational efforts (up to hundredfold). Besides a new solver provides better accuracy and requires much less memory than the standard Matlab sparse solver.
