Abstract :
Users of a formal language system face the problem of ensuring that their syntactically-valid constructions in that language are valid reflections of their semantic intentions. The work described develops a method for validating relational algebra query language expressions put to a relational database, through the automatic generation of natural language descriptions of the relations derived by query language operations
