Abstract :
A decision algorithm in the correlation domain taking advantage of the large time-bandwidth is surveyed to see the effect of weighting, epoch error and in-between frequency distance for the single-hop case, and of extension to the M-hop case. After extending the integration interval to M hops, the asynchronism effect is shown to be compensated. The performance of a hard decision for M-hop using per-cell decision and BMWD (binary moving window detector) is shown to have better performance than the soft decision
